What type of animal does Liqua Fat work well on?

Liqua Fat can be used on all classes of livestock that need additional fat in their diets. Animals that are "harder made" or too muscular can often benefit from increased fat in their diets to help soften and improve their cover and condition. Adding fat at lower inclusions can also help gains, however, adding too much fat to a diet can slow down the rate of gain.

How does Liqua Fat differ from other fat supplements in the Sunglo lineup?

How much Liqua Fat do I feed and when do I feed it?

The amount that you feed is dependent upon the amount that that specific animal needs. For pigs we recommend up to 4 oz. per head per day. Cattle up to 8 oz. per head per day. Sheep and goats up to 2 oz. per head per day. If you're looking to use it for on farm mixing of complete hog feed, you can mix anywhere from 20 to 100 lbs. of Liqua Fat per ton of mixed feed, depending on your goals. Liqua Fat can be fed at any time in the feeding phase.
